On the flying front, I have secured an arrangement with the Australian/NZ distributor of the new Piper Sport aircraft whereby I assemble, test fly, demonstrate and deliver the aircraft, as appropriate, out of my Gatton Airpark facility. It also means I have the factory demo available to take to local and interstate events. And a lovely machine it is too. You can see a pic of my new ' office'
Unfortunately I have sold Harvey the RV after 3 years in the making and 7 years of great flying. It has only gone 2 doors up and I still can maintain it, so I can look around for the next project while flying both the unique Spacewalker and the Piper Sport.
Sometimes I just have to pinch myself !

A bit has happened since the last post. Chris has started her new job as PA to the head of the new vetinary sciences faculty at the University of Qld - Gatton Campus, so she gets to work with vets, horses and other interesting animals.
We have also started on our new project, with some earthworks underway - roadway, horse arena and house pad, with a lot more to do. Just hope we don't scare off the resident family of Eastern Grey 'roos.

It had been sometime since we visited my mother on the Mornington Peninsual, so we flew the RV down and caught up with good friends - Bill, Bubba & Lilliana, Pete, Paul and my brothers, as well as my favourite daughter Jess and her partner Andrei. The weather also reminded us of why we moved to Queensland 5 years earlier, but the flights down and back were very pleasant
