After 2 days of glorious rain, the sun came out and Chris and I headed off on the bikes to the picturesque Spring Bluff Railway Station up on the range, then on to Esk via the Ravensbourne National park for morning tea. On the return section we visited the Lowood Memorial Drive, which is a part of the former Lowood airbase, and scene of the Australian Grand Prix for cars back in the 1950's. From there we could see Mt.Tarampa and the underground Operations bunker set into its lower slope. Further investigation warrented.

Hi Martin, what's with the sheepskin seatcover on your Buell?

Living in QLD must be turning you into a softie!

Kind regards

Choppers
